Current Projects

In the summer of 2021 I curated a two storey, six room exhibition in Peckham for my non-profit Totum Studio, hosting 20 young artists and designers. I am also currently helping with the designs of a Tiny House and a gin distillery which are both being built in the South of France (with separate clients).

The tiny house will fit on a trailer and is being made predominately from timber and reclaimed/donated materials (such as windows, pallets etc)

The gin distillery requires high fire resiliency as well as a low carbon footprint (both in construction and use) while combining traditional Provençal architecture with a contemporary feel.

Work Experience

University Projects

I am currently working at PEEK Architecture & Design in Central London - We predominantly work on residential and high end residential projects. I have been involved in all stages of design and work alongside developers, contractors and interior designers regularly.

I have worked at Benevides & Associates where I was able to work independently on two projects over the course of two summer internships. Firstly I worked on an extension to the local yacht club, then a two storey poolhouse. While there I produced digital models and orthographic drawings, I also enjoyed the opportunity to contribute at multiple client meetings.

I completed a two week internship at Pozzoni's Holborn Office where I worked on a masterplanning project in West Horndon. Designing two landscapes, one for the central boulevard, and one for a small park. During this experience I researched and collected materials to use in the project and drew up and rendered the landscape designs for a presentation meeting.

I have completed a three year BA degree at the University of Westminster - where I achieved a slightly frustrating 69%

In Third Year I worked on two projects both of which were templates to provide alternative living in central London, providing the opportunity for residents to dwell, and thrive in a creative space which was fully carbon neutral in construction and use. Firstly I designed 'The Hamlet', a self build, carbon neutral, off-grid townhouse in the heart of Southwark; this project provided residents with a place to live without external dependance on food, plumbing, electricity, or water. In my second semester I designed 'The Village' which built upon the first semesters project. The project provided the same off grid amenities for 40+ residents, as well as hosting a market and education facilities. The projects experimented with structural cob and modular, and expandable timber structures on top as well as went into a lot of technical detail on how to provide all essential amenities in a high-rise metropolitan society.

In Second Year I produced Two projects, first 'The Dales', a Playhouse for the production of a rock musical on the Bronte Sisters. I re-imagined the top of temple station as a Yorkshire valley, helping the audience appreciate the sense of isolation felt by the characters. In my second semester I designed 'Barking wood' a carbon negative town hall and alternative education centre. The conceptual project beginning twenty years prior to its construction saw poplar trees fill the east London site, the carefully calculated design would allow for areas to be cut for timber which would be used to build the project, the wood then would be responsibly managed to provide materials for the science and design educational facilities.

In my first year I worked on three projects, Firstly I designed street furniture in Ramillies street inspired by Richard Serra to create an experiential, yet social side street. My second project was an Art Cafe in Folkestone which grew their own dyes for paints and the cafe's food. Finally I designed an artists gallery/residence flirting with private/public space, sight-lines and permeability in material.
